A third space at use, where strangers and communities naturally intertwine.
In the heart of two bustling markets, a narrow lane springs to life each evening. Kids dash about playing gully cricket, the clatter of street food carts fills the air and the elders lounge on charpoys over steaming cups of chai. It’s neither completely private nor public, just the perfect amount of balance where the life unfolds naturally, becoming a third space where street and community blend into one.
Inside the Selco Foundation office, the same spirit thrived. The East Passage rang with laughter of the daycare kids, their joy spilling warmth into the workspace. Meanwhile, scooters lined the west, and even the city’s traffic police stopped by. This intimates how this space belonged to everyone.
